Recommendations
The insemination procedure is usually performed in the following circumstances:
- Low quality sperm
- Presence of spermicides
- Anatomical abnormalities
- Ejaculation disorder
- Early stage endometriosis
- Ovulation disorders
Klinika Bocian offers all available forms of insemination. Most often, we perform intrauterine insemination. In certain cases, we conduct intracervical and intra-fallopian insemination. The insemination procedure does not pose any risk of complications. Occasionally, patients may experience minor abdominal discomfort, infection or spotting.
Insemination success rates
Insemination success rates range from five to twenty five percent depending on the case. Insemination is most effective after three to six attempts.
